Composition:
100 g of ACICLOVIR TIS 50 mg/g cream contain 5 g of aciclovir and excipients.
Indications:
Treatment of initial and recurrent skin infections with herpes simplex virus, including genital herpes and herpes labialis.
Use:
Apply ACICLOVIR TIS 50 mg/g cream on skin lesions, 5 times a day, every 4 hours, excepting the night period.
Treatment must be started as soon as possible, after the onset of the infection; the treatment of recurrent episodes should start preferably during the prodromal period or when first lesions occur. Treatment should be continued for 5 days. If the symptoms do not improve after 5 days, treatment duration can be increased by other 5 days.
