Composition:
each suppository contains prochlorperazine 5 mg (in the form of prochlorperazine maleate 8.1 mg), excipients.
Indications:
– for the prevention and treatment of vomiting of various causes: postoperative and postanesthetic, in uremia, in irradiation disease, in gastroenteritis and in vomiting caused by various drugs;
– migraine, Meniere’s vertigo.
Administration method:
Grown ups
– as an antiemetic: the recommended dose is 5-10 mg prochlorperazine 2-4 times a day;
– for the treatment of vertigo: the recommended dose is 15-30 mg prochlorperazine per day divided into several doses.
BOYS
The recommended dose is 0.25 mg prochlorperazine/kg 2-3 times a day. The medicine is not recommended for children under 1 year of age or weighing less than 10 kg.
